Belgium

Belgium, officially the Kingdom of Belgium, is a country in Western Europe. It is bordered by the Netherlands to the north, Germany to the east, Luxembourg to the southeast, France to the southwest, and the North Sea to the northwest.

Belgium switched to the euro in 2002, with the first sets of euro coins being minted in 1999.

In 2008, Belgium slightly modified the design in order to comply with the European Commission's guidelines.

In 2014, Belgium introduced the third series of euro coins.
